Web Mapping Using Bubbl.us

Whenever someone asks me a question like "do you have any concerns or questions right now," I have a very hard time coming up with any good responses even though I know I have thought of questions before.  It's so frustrating, but I've done the best I could with what I could come up with.  I've worked on this bubble map for several days now; a little bit here and there.
I've always been concerned with classroom discipline and how to successfully set it up in my own classroom.  I've also struggled with idea of working with parents/guardians of the children in my classroom.  I also put in my bubble map a branch for government decisions because I know I need to keep up with what the government and other political leaders decide that we as teachers must follow and what we must teach.  I've always struggled with keeping up with current events.
I'm not sure what type of class action research I can develop with these topics.  I'm open to any suggestions if someone sees something that would work.  I'm sure that once I stop thinking about it for a few days, when I've been wracking my brain all week, that something will pop in my head that will be like an "ah-ha" moment.  You know, that moment when it all just clicks and I really understand what topic I want to pursue.

  1. Claudia,

For the ideas you've listed in your concept map, I'd think the classroom management issue might be the one nearest and dearest to your heart and that's where I'd tell you to focus. It will be one of the most challenging issues for a new teacher and therefore maybe the most important for you to begin thinking about. Perhaps you could look at what you see in the literature about classroom management and novice teachers and find one particular idea that you could possibly attempt in your classroom to engage your students and keep disruptions at a minimum. Just a thought....
